VIDEO | UFC rankings updated following UFC on FOX 24 – new contender climbs closer to Bisping

The UFC rankings have been freshly updated following the UFC on FOX 24 event that took place this past weekend.

UFC middleweight Robert Whittaker established himself as one of the top contenders at 185 by finishing Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in the second round by TKO. Whittaker jumped from the #6 spot to the #3 spot in the middleweight rankings coming up right behind Yoel Romero and Luke Rockhold, respectively.

Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson remains at the top of the UFC’s pound-for-pound list as he was able to tie Anderson Silva for the most consecutive title defenses. Johnson defended his title for the 10th time with his armbar submission over Wilson Reis in the main event.
