VIDEO | Alexander Gustafsson kicks coach in face with spinning back kick
UFC light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson is currently gearing up for his upcoming May showdown with Glover Teixeira in Sweden, where he looks to build on his September win over Jan Blachowicz. For ‘The Mauler’, he will be looking to build on the momentum of his win over Blachowicz, which saw him snap a 2-fight skid, and move one step closer to another crack at the UFC light heavyweight championship. During his preparation for the bout, Gustafsson managed to catch his coach with a spinning back kick to the face!

Ahead of his showdown with Teixeira, Alexander Gustafsson will likely have his eyes on this Saturday’s UFC 210 main event, where UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will look to make his second successful title defense against Anthony Johnson. Cormier’s first title defense of course came against Gustafsson, who Cormier defeated at UFC 192 via split decision in arguably one of the best light heavyweight title fights of all time. Prior to that, Gustafsson found himself TKOd by Anthony Johnson.
Ahead of Cormier vs. Johnson this Saturday, Gustafsson recently weighed-in on the bout, saying:
“If one of those hands lands on ‘DC,’ it’s going to be a tough night, but at the same time, with Anthony, you’ve seen him dominate and you’ve seen him lose and get finished. What I know with ‘DC’ is he’s a tough guy. It doesn’t matter what you throw at him, what you give him in the fight, he just keeps coming forward. ‘DC’ will keep his belt that night, but it’s a hard fight to predict.”
