VIDEO | Conor McGregor exits NYC police station in handcuffs

Max Holloway’s unfortunate withdrawal from his last-minute UFC 223 main event showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov has captured our attention, but let’s not forget that UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is currently in boiling hot water.

After spending the night in an NYPD precinct, McGregor is now breathing fresh air again, having been escorted out of the station in cuffs. See the video of his grand exit above.

McGregor’s arrest stems from a Thursday afternoon rampage, during which he and his cronies launched a wild attack on the Barclay’s Center—the UFC 223 host venue. In the midst of this insane rampage, McGregor threw a dolly through the window of a bus, and injured a number of fighters, who were later forced off the UFC 223 bill.

As of this morning, McGregor is facing a litany of charges, including a felony mischief charge, and three misdemeanour assault charges. Then there’s the numerous lawsuits he’s likely to be hit with…
