Conor McGregor in Octagon

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has not let the first loss of his UFC career bring him down. Despite losing to Nate Diaz at UFC 196, “The Notorious” is already looking to get back into the Octagon.

McGregor spoke with some members of the media after he was spotted on the streets. When asked about having Justin Bieber rooting for him, McGregor had good things to say about the pop star.

“It’s great to have the support of the people,” McGregor said. “I look forward to coming back with a vengeance.”

When asked by the media if he would consider having Bieber walk out with him to the Octagon like boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. has done in his fights, McGregor said, “Sure, why not?”

Conor also said that he would like to rematch Nate Diaz as the fight interests him as he says he took the first round of the fight.

“You know, when I look at the fight, I was winning the fight,” McGregor said. “I would love to get that one back.”
