The most feared women’s fighter on the planet, Cris Cyborg, has been pleading with her employer (the UFC) to get her a fight for July’s UFC 214 event in Anaheim, California.

Cyborg, who rightfully should be fighting for the promotions featherweight championship in her next contest, has been having an incredibly difficult time finding an opponent for her next octagon appearance.

“Justino” was initially expected to fight current UFC women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie on July 29 in Anaheim. However, “GDR” turned down that fight offer, and now rumors are swirling that the Dutch champion may vacate her title entirely.

The former Invicta featherweight champion of the world, Cris Cyborg, made an appearance at this weekend’s UFC Athlete Retreat in Las Vegas.

Unfortunately for “Justino”, the top women’s fighter in the world was left feeling snubbed by the promotion after not finding her photo in the retreat’s athlete booklet (see the above video).

“Justino” has recently been busy on social media trying to persuade UFC officials to sign current Invicta featherweight champion Megan Anderson so that the pair can square off for an interim UFC title on July 29 in Anaheim.

With that said, the UFC is rumored to be working on a fight that would pit Cyborg against former bantamweight title challenger Cat Zingano, who has gone 0-2 in her most recent outings.

As for the Brazilian, Cris Cyborg has gone 2-0 while competing under the UFC banner.

Cyborg made her octagon debut at UFC 198 in May of 2016 against veteran Leslie Smith in a catchweight bout contested at 140-pounds.

Cyborg scored a quick win over Leslie Smith at the pay-per-view event, earning a TKO victory in just 81-seconds much to the delight of her hometown crowd in Curitiba, Brazil.

In her second UFC appearance, Justino squared off with Lina Lansberg in another catchweight fight that was once again contested at 140-pounds.

Although Lansberg proved to be a tough opponent, she was no match for the overwhelming power displayed by Cyborg who promptly finished Lina midway through the second-round of their event headlining scrap.

Prior to joining the UFC ranks, Cristiane Justino competed under the Invicta FC fight banner on five occasions, winning the promotions featherweight title in July of 2013 by defeating Marloes Coenen via fourth-round TKO.

Cyborg would go on to defend her Invicta championship on three different occasions, all while fighting on her current UFC contract, scoring first-round knockout victories over Charmaine Tweet, Faith Van Duin and most recently Daria Ibragimova at ‘Invicta FC 15’ in January of 2016.
