TUF 24 coaches

It’s no secret that The Ultimate Fighter has given some of the best rivalries in MMA a platform to be seen by the world.

From Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping, to Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate, MMA fans have seen some of the best and baddest rivalries in MMA history through TUF.

On the newest season, season 24, former flyweight title challengers Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo are coaching flyweight champions from various promotions throughout the competition, with the winner being given a title shot against UFC flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson. While Benavidez and Cejudo didn’t have a storied rivalry going into the season, tempers have quickly begun to flare.

The two coaches will fight at the end of the season, in hopes of working their way towards another title shot against Demetrious Johnson. Benavidez will enter the bout on a 5-fight win streak, with his most recent win being a unanimous decision over Zach Makovsky earlier this year. Cejudo on the other hand will enter the bout after suffering the first defeat of his professional MMA career at the hands of Demetrious Johnson earlier this year. Prior to that, the former Olympian was on a tear of the flyweight division, going 4-0 in the UFC, and 10-0 as a professional before his loss to Johnson.

In the video above you can see Benavidez and Johnson going at it prior to TUF weigh-ins.
