There are not many fighters in the business that have got this move quite figured out yet. Whether trying to impose it on the offensive or avoid the wrath of the “Stockton slap” on the defense, the Diaz brothers pull it like it’s on a trigger.

Former super middleweight world champion and Olympic gold medalist boxer Andre Ward is a friend and training partner of the Diaz brothers said, “They call it the Stockton slap because he’ll slap you to death man and I don’t mean that in a bad way.”

Nate Diaz was able to pull off a few good slaps on UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor in their non-title welterweight bout at UFC 196. Diaz ended up winning by submission in the second round and now two are set to rematch in the main event of UFC 200.
