In the main event of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 3 Finale, streaking UFC lightweight Tony Ferguson continued his impressive win streak as he defeated former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos in dominant fashion, picking apart dos Anjos with his extremely unorthodox striking style. While both men landed big blows throughout the fight, Ferguson managed to not only bloody the face of dos Anjos, but also land numerous shots to the body and legs of the former champ, repeatedly throwing inside calf kicks to the lower leg of dos Anjos.

Ultimately, after 5 rounds of action, Ferguson was awarded the unanimous decision win, making it 9 straight for ‘El Cucuy’, who was ranked at #3 on the UFC’s official rankings prior to the fight, behind only Rafael dos Anjos at #2, and Khabib Nurmagomedov at #1, with Eddie Alvarez of course reigning as the lightweight champion.

With the loss, dos Anjos is now on a 2-fight skid that previously saw him get TKOd by Eddie Alvarez back in July, where he lost the lightweight championship.
