Tyron Woodley is an incredibly talented mixed martial artist – he is, after all, the defending UFC welterweight champion. He’s also a solid analyst, having carved out a nice side job as a commentator for Fox Sports. And as it turns out, Woodley is also a pretty good freestyle rapper.

On a recent episode of Sway in the Morning, the welterweight champ flaunted his skills on the mic, dropping a pretty impressive freestyle rap.

“I’m going to give a warning to all my fans, because I’m going to be on Fox tomorrow,” Woodley said moments before his freestyle began. “I might say some ratchet stuff, I might drop some bombs, Ns, Fs, so give me the pass today. And I ain’t no rapper, so for all you guys out there scratching my bars with a fine tooth comb, come see me in the Octagon.”

Tyron Woodley will next defend his title this Saturday, in the co-main event of UFC 214, when he takes on Demian Maia, who stands out as one of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu players in MMA.

Woodley will enter this fight having most recently defended his belt with a majority decision win over Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. This win occurred in a rematch of a thrilling November draw. Prior to this draw, Woodley won the UFC welterweight title with a crushing, first-round knockout of Robbie Lawler.

Maia, meanwhile, will enter this UFC 214 title fight on a seven-fight streak. This streak is composed of wins over top talent in Jorge Masvidal, Carlos Condit, Matt Brown, Gunnar Nelson, Neil Magny, Ryan LaFlare, and Alexander Yakovlev – who coincidently, moonlights as a rapper in his native Russia.
