“Kenny Florian, stop copying and pasting man.”

It was supposed to be a joke amongst friends and colleagues as Dominick Cruz proved fellow FOX analyst wrong by reclaiming the UFC bantamweight championship from T.J. Dillashaw.

Florian, however, did not find the joke funny after getting suspended from FOX for a plagiarism incident with a piece he did for the FOX Sports website.

Florian talked about his conversation with Cruz after his Octagon interview ribbing and said he was simply doing his job. As an analyst, giving his professional opinion on picking a winner of the fight prior to it taking place is what he had to do. As friends, Florian says that is one of the toughest things to do as you cross between friendships and not wanting to offend anyone.
