Check out former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones give a candid interview about a few things MMA, including how his sparring with Anderson Silva went in New York.

The interviewer already suggests with her question that former middleweight champion Anderson Silva got the best of him in their playful match, but a game Jon Jones surely gave the answer she wanted to hear.

Jones said, “Yeah, Anderson could easily kick my ass if he wanted to. He was taking it easy on me. He has that big brother complex on me, so he’ll always be able to beat me. That’s why I never want to fight him.”

There is a mutual respect between Jon Jones and Anderson Silva. Silva has previously gone on record to say that he and Jones “have a good relationship. I have him as a young brother. Our relationship is great, I’m a fan and a close friend. I believe he will be the best of all time.”

While the two seem to have an agreement to never fight one another in the Octagon, they both have their own scheduled fights coming up to prove their greatness once again.

Anderson Silva is scheduled to fight Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night 84 at the 02 Arena in London, England on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Jon Jones will have a chance to regain the UFC light heavyweight championship title as he faces the champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 on April 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
