Christy Mack fires back at haters on social media. After eight days of testimony and almost two full days of deliberations, former UFC and Bellator fighter Jon Koppenhaver (better known as “War Machine”) was found guilty on twenty-nine charges for his brutal assault on victims Christine Mackinday (Christy Mack) and Corey Thomas.

This week, former MMA fighter War Machine was found guilty by a jury on 29 counts, including sexual assault, battery and kidnapping. With that being said, the jury was hung in regards to the attempted murder charges. With that being said, War Machine will be sentenced on June 5th for the 29 counts he was found guilty of. Now, in the wake of War Machine, real name Jon Koppenhaver, being found guilty, Christy Mack has released a statement on Twitter regarding the situation, saying:

Over the last few weeks, the trial of Bellator and UFC veteran War Machine (born Jonathan Koppenhaver) has dominated headlines. This trial stemmed from a grisly 2014 incident, during which the former fighter brutalized ex-girlfriend Christy Mac and her then boyfriend Corey Thomas. After several weeks of court proceedings, during which many horrifying details about War Machine’s attack on Mack and Thomas were revealed, the former fighter has now been found guilty on 29 of the 34 charges he faced – most notably of sexual assault, battery and kidnapping. The most severe charges he faced – a pair of attempted murder charges – resulted in a hung jury, meaning the jury was unable to agree on a guilty or not guilty verdict. This in turn, implies a mistrial.

The trial of Bellator and UFC veteran War Machine (born Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver) continues to unfurl, and as it does, more gruesome details about his 2014 attack on Christy Mack and her then boyfriend Corey Thomas continue to emerge. The latest of these harrowing details come from Las Vegas detective Daniel Tomaino, who took the stand on Friday afternoon. Tomaino, who visited Mack in the hospital shortly after she was brutalized by War Machine, explained that he was initially unable to make sense of her accounts of the attack because she was missing so many teeth.
