Yves Jabouin vs. Johnny Eduardo added to UFC 158 in Montreal | UFC News
UFC officials announced today that a bantamweight fight between Yves Jabouin (18-8 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and Johnny Eduardo (26-9 MMA, 1-1 UFC) has been added to the UFC 158 card scheduled for March.
Jabouin fights for the first time in his adopted home city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Yves will look to use the home crowd as motivation to get back in to the win column, this after suffering a KO loss in his last outing to Brad Pickett in September. Prior to the Pickett loss, Jabouin was riding a three fight win streak, that included victories over Ian Loveland and Jeff Hougland.
Meanwhile, Eduardo looks to build off his first career octagon victory, which he obtained with a decision win over Jeff Curran this past May. The Brazilian vet has gone 1-1 since joining the UFC, prior to that he had strung together 11 straight victories outside of the promotion.
UFC 158 takes place March 16th live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The main event of the evening features a welterweight title fight between champion Georges St. Pierre and former Strikeforce titleholder Nick Diaz.
