As we now know, Dustin Poirier will have his retirement fight this summer. He will go head to head with Max Holloway, a man who he’s already beaten twice in mixed martial arts. He’ll be hoping that he can showcase the best of himself as he prepares to ride off into the sunset.

The UFC is headed back to Atlanta, Georgia, and UFC CEO Dana White has announced the main and co-main event. Taking to Instagram Live, White announced that the main event of the card will see former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman taking on Joaquin Buckley. The event will take place on June 14 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

It’s no secret that UFC welterweight contender Carlos Prates enjoys the occasional — or regular — cigarette. What may surprise some fans is that the Brazilian is still hacking darts mere days before the biggest fight of his life. Canada’s St-Pierre is considered one of the best MMA fighters of all time. A long-time UFC welterweight champ, he first retired after a controversial decision win over Johny Hendricks in 2013. However, he returned in 2017, to challenge middleweight champ Michael Bisping in a bid for a second title. St-Pierre won the title with a submission victory, becoming one of just a few two-division champs in UFC history.
