Well, the boss has given us some clarity. Since the conclusion of the event, we’ve seen boxing matches with Floyd Mayweather get teased and even a report for a bout with Georges St-Pierre being in the works.

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has taken notice of these promotions. Speaking on a recent Fight Companion episode of his popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast, he gave his take on a number of the UFC’s competitors.

Two days ago, a pretty surprising matchup was announced as former middleweight king Anderson Silva was announced to be making his return against the rising contender, Israel Adesanya at UFC 234 in February. Adesanya just recently dispatched of Derek Brunson at UFC 230 who also happens to be Silva’s last opponent as well.

Jon Jones is arguably one of the greatest fighters of all-time. However, for the former UFC light heavyweight champion, many believe his legacy is tarnished. Jones has been suspended three times with two of them being due to USADA. In which Jones has been stripped of his light heavyweight title twice, and the interim title once. Now, Jones has put all that behind him and will return to fight Alexander Gustafsson for the light heavyweight title at UFC 232 on December 29.

Jon Jones is inarguably one of the greatest fighters in MMA history. In fact, he might just be the best fighter ever. That being said, the last few years of his career, have not gone particularly smoothly. Although he has authored some incredible performances in that time, his success has been marred by several failed drug tests and several unfortunate brushes with the law. Of all the incidents that cast a shadow over his recent career, however, Jon Jones says there is one that he regrets most of all: his 2015 hit-and-run, in which he ran a red light and collided with another vehicle, injuring a pregnant woman in the process.

Back in October, former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor finally returned to the Octagon, taking on reigning UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in his first mixed martial arts bout in more than two years. Unfortunately for McGregor and his throngs of fans, this return to action did not go as planned, as he was tapped out by Nurmagomedov in the fourth round. Since then, Conor McGregor has claimed several times that he does plan on fighting again. Given the mountains of wealth he’s sitting on and the many side projects that keep him busy outside the cage, however, these claims are often met with a degree of skepticism.

The year 2018 has not been particularly kind to Hawaii’s Yancy Medeiros. After coming up short to Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in February, the fan favorite sought to get back on track opposite “Platinum” Mike Perry at UFC 226 in July. Regrettably, this plan was derailed when he sustained a rib injury, and he has not fought since.

UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley and UFC interim welterweight champ Colby Covington have swapped seemingly endless trash talk over the last year. The good news is that they seem destined to settle their sizzling beef in the very near future. Speaking on his Instagram account recently, the champ Tyron Woodley updated on his recovery and named the ideal timeframe for his title unification with Colby Covington.

After suffering stoppage losses in his first two encounters with the Iceman long ago at UFC 47 and UFC 66, Ortiz was at last able to get the better of Liddell twenty-four hours ago at The Forum in Inglewood.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is rarely afraid to share his opinions on his fellow fighters. On Sunday afternoon, that’s just what the MMA legend did, this time taking aim at his former opponent Rashad Evans, and at UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell. Rashad Evans was the first of Jon Jones’ targets. Apparently, Evans recently made some comments that implied Jones was using performance-enhancing drugs when they fought, and that Jones’ 2016 fight with Ovince Saint Preux was the only time he’s fought without these substances in the UFC’s Octagon.
