Weidman (15-7 MMA) will be looking to snap a two-fight losing skid when he takes to the Octagon this evening. The ‘All American’ was most previously seen in action last August at UFC 292, where he dropped a decision to Brad Tavares. Prior to that, the 39-year-old had suffered a broken leg in his bout against Uriah Hall at UFC 261.

The Octagon returns to New Jersey for tonight’s UFC Atlantic City event, a 14-bout fight card headlined by Erin Blanchfield vs. Manon Fiorot. Blanchfield (12-1 MMA) will enter the contest sporting a nine-fight winning streak, her most recent being a unanimous decision victory over Taila Santos. Prior to that, ‘Cold Blooded’ had scored three submission wins in a row, finishing JJ Aldrich, Molly McCann and Jessica Andrade in that stretch.

UFC middleweight Sean Strickland is ready to move to boxing if he doesn’t face Dricus du Plessis. ‘Tarzan’ hasn’t competed since his first title defense against ‘Stillknocks’ at UFC 297 in January. The bout was Sean Strickland’s first, since defeating Israel Adesanya last September. While the newly crowned champion wasn’t excited about fighting in Canada, he was excited to finally settle his feud with Dricus du Plessis.

Behind-the-scenes footage of the filming of Road House starring former UFC champion Conor McGregor has emerged. ‘The Notorious’ along with Jake Gyllenhaal starred in the remake of the 80s classic, which was released earlier this week. For the most part, the film has received average to positive reviews and has done well on Amazon Prime Video. Most of the praise was directed at Gyllenhaal, as well as the debuting Conor McGregor.

There, Chris Weidman will compete in his second fight since breaking his leg in 2021 against Uriah Hall. On Saturday night, he will face Bruno Silva, who enters the bout riding a two-fight losing streak. Heading into fight camp, Weidman was thinking to himself that he could retire with a loss.

Severino was making his UFC debut at age 20, but in the second round, he bit his opponent and was disqualified from the fight. Not only was he disqualified, but he was immediately released from the promotion.

Khamzat Chimaev has opened as the betting favorite ahead of his UFC Saudi Arabia main event fight against Robert Whittaker. UFC CEO Dana White announced the fight would headline the card on June 22 late Wednesday evening. The fight also serves as a No. 1 contender bout at middleweight as the winner will get the next title shot, White revealed.
