It was MMA manager, Ali Abdelaziz, who claimed that Israel Adesanya wouldn’t last more than three rounds against Nurmagomedov. Abdelaziz also said ‘The Eagle’ is capable of beating heavyweights, light heavyweights, welterweights and lightweights.

Pereira  defeated ‘The Last Stylebender’ twice in kickboxing but Adesanya stated that the MMA doesn’t have ‘big pillow gloves’ like kickboxing and the middleweight champion can’t wait to drive a four-ounce glove ‘through (Pereira’s) face’ when they finally meet again.
