Khabib Nurmagomedov disagrees with Ali Abdelaziz’s comments about Israel Adesanya. It was MMA manager, Ali Abdelaziz, who claimed that Israel Adesanya wouldn’t last more than three rounds against Nurmagomedov. Abdelaziz also said ‘The Eagle’ is capable of beating heavyweights, light heavyweights, welterweights and lightweights.

It was Justin Gaethje (23-4 MMA) vs Charles Oliveira (33-8 MMA) in the lightweight main event on May 7th, 2022 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The result was Oliveira submitting Gaethje via rear-naked choke just 3:22 into the first round of their battle.

They could be on a collision course now after firing off a slew of insults at one another during the UFC 276 pre-fight press conference. Pedro Munhoz believes Sean O’Malley is as legit as they come. Opening up the UFC 276 main card is a solid bantamweight scrap between Munhoz and O’Malley. The bout will serve as the first time O’Malley fights a top-10 opponent in the UFC. With that, many have criticized ‘Suga’ about who he has fought and wondered if he is good as he says he is, but for Munhoz, he believes ‘Suga’ is legit even without fighting a top-ranked opponent before.

Former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler has found his fire again, and he thanks Nick Diaz for that. ‘Ruthless’ has been struggling in the octagon since 2016. Lawler lost his UFC welterweight strap to Tyron Woodley in July of that year, and he was unable to get back on the right track. Following that defeat, he went 1-4 in the cage, with defeats to names such as Colby Covington and Ben Askren.

Israel Adesanya thinks fighters need to be paid more money. Adesanya has been vocal in the past about fighter pay, especially with Francis Ngannou going through his contract dispute. Although ‘Stylebender’ signed a lucrative deal prior to his last fight, he says fighters are still paid like strippers and should instead be paid more like NFL and NBA players.

Alex Pereira says he is confused by Israel Adesanya’s ‘big pillow gloves’ comment ahead of UFC 276. Adesanya spoke about a potential rematch with Pereira ahead of UFC 276. Pereira defeated ‘The Last Stylebender’ twice in kickboxing but Adesanya stated that the MMA doesn’t have ‘big pillow gloves’ like kickboxing and the middleweight champion can’t wait to drive a four-ounce glove ‘through (Pereira’s) face’ when they finally meet again.

Chris Curtis is hoping to fight Kelvin Gastelum his next time out. Curtis improved to 3-0 in the Octagon at UFC Vegas 57, as he beat Rodolfo Vieira by decision in a fight that saw him defend 20 takedown attempts. Although Curtis got the win, he didn’t get the finish which is something he wanted.
