UFC middleweight Sean Strickland is worried he’s going to receive similar treatment to Gina Carano ahead of UFC 276 this week. While he may be best known as a middleweight contender to many mixed martial arts fans, Sean Strickland also has a tendency to rub people the wrong way on social media. His antics, ranging from strange rants to being suspended by Twitter, have left many wondering whether he’s playing a character or if he’s genuinely speaking his mind.

Although Volkanovski has won both of the previous fights, the second win was a split decision so they will be running it back for the third time.

Sean Strickland doesn’t think Alex Pereira is that good of a striker. Pereira is a decorated kickboxer and a former Glory champion, but Strickland isn’t sold on his skills. Instead, he believes Glory kickboxers are overhyped and aren’t as good as many think and he plans to prove that.

Israel Adesanya has taken a shot at Jon Jones as he received his USADA jacket for 50 clean drug tests. Adesanya is set to defend his middleweight title in the main event of UFC 276 as he faces Jared Cannonier. Although the champ has only been in the UFC since 2018 he has already cleared 50 clean drug tests and when he got his jacket he took a small jab at Jones.

Their first outing at UFC 248 in March 2020 was one of the greatest bouts in UFC history. However, the rematch was much more one-sided, as Jedrzejczyk was knocked out in round two.

Tyron Woodley is saying he would accept a fight with Israel Adesanya if it was offered to him by Dana White and the UFC. Woodley (19-7 MMA), after a four fight losing streak against Vicente Luque (21-8 MMA), Colby Covington (17-3 MMA), Gilbert Burns (20-5 MMA) and Kamaru Usman (20-1 MMA) was released from the UFC in 2021 as his contract was up. It was to be the end of an eight-year relationship with the UFC that began back in 2013.

After re-entering the USADA testing pool a few months ago, it probably isn’t going to take long for Henry Cejudo to get back into a UFC title fight. After all, when he first retired in 2020, he was a two-weight world champion who had successfully defended the strap at both bantamweight and flyweight.
