While she may not have made it to the top of the mountain during her run with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Paige VanZant certainly has the potential necessary to go a long way in professional wrestling.

Former UFC champion Dominick Cruz has denied Marlon Vera’s accusation that he’s ducking a fight against him. While he may not have fought for a title since losing to Henry Cejudo back at UFC 249, Dominick Cruz is certainly still one of the best bantamweights on the planet. He’s currently riding a two-fight win streak and even at the age of 37, the popular opinion is that he could be just a few wins away from a shot at the strap based on his body of work.

Henry Cejudo has shot down the idea of his return fight being a rematch against former foe Dominick Cruz. The former two-weight UFC champion Henry Cejudo announced recently that he’s re-entering the USADA testing pool after more than two years away from competitive mixed martial arts. His plan of action seems to be going after UFC bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling as his primary target but beyond that, he’s also noted that he wants to try and become the featherweight champion in order to be the first fighter to hold a title in three weight classes in the UFC.

Jorge Masvidal continues to go back and forth with Conor McGregor as their social media feud escalates. In the last couple of years there’s been a lot of talk surrounding the possibility of Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor squaring off inside the Octagon. They’ve both teased it on several occasions, they serve as two of the biggest stars in the UFC, and it’d almost certainly be a barnburner of a scrap.

The former MMA fighter reportedly chased a man through traffic and fired at his vehicle several times. Over the following weeks, more details were released as to the situation involving Velasquez.

Specifically, Cruz discussed how T.J. Dillashaw is likely to receive a title shot next against champion Aljamain Sterling. UFC President Dana White noted last month, that the two are likely to fight later this year.

Glover Teixeira has slammed the UFC for the ‘ridiculous’ decision to strip Charles Oliveira of the lightweight title. Charles Oliveira (33-8 MMA) was scheduled to defend his then-UFC lightweight title against Justin Gaethje (23-4 MMA) at UFC 274 on May 7th. Unfortunately for Oliveira he failed to make the 155 pound weight limit at weigh-in’s the Friday before and ended up being stripped of the title, and ineligible to win it back in the main event. Oliveira ultimately did go on to compete and defeated Gaethje via first-round rear-naked choke, making it a record 11 wins in a row for ‘do Bronx’.

Jorge Masvidal has accused Conor McGregor of injecting steroids and ‘all kinds of things’ into his body. Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA) last fought in July of 2021 at UFC 264 where he succumbed to defeat against Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA). The result was a broken leg for McGregor, which required surgery, rehabilitation and the Irishman is back into training looking for a Fall return to the Octagon.
