The Ultimate Fighting Championship has officially unveiled the main card for the upcoming UFC 277 pay-per-view in July. Up to this point in the year, the UFC has been putting on some incredible events for mixed martial arts fans around the world to get excited about. As we look ahead to the remainder of 2022, it doesn’t look like they’re about to slow down as the promotion continues to push themselves to the limit with regards to what is possible within their roster.

Junior dos Santos has provided fans with an update following the shoulder injury he picked up at Eagle FC 47. Last weekend at Eagle FC 47, Junior dos Santos went toe to toe with Yorgan De Castro in what proved to be a really fun main event down in Miami. Both heavyweights were slugging it out for the first two rounds and enjoyed similar levels of success, with many believing dos Santos looked the best he has done in years.

In what appears to have been a quietly kept secret until the last 24 hours, Khamzat Chimaev is now a married man after a ceremony with his wife and many friends & family in Chechnya. There were many who attended including Ramzan Kadyrov, who is currently involved in Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

Jorge Masvidal has questioned accusations from Michel Pereira that he was sending DMs to his wife over social media. The UFC roster is full of fighters wanting to try and make an impact and in order to do that, sometimes you have to rattle a few cages. Last Saturday night, Michel Pereira did just that by throwing the above accusation at Jorge Masvidal in the wake of his impressive win over Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Ketlen Vieira has no interest in a rematch with Irene Aldana at this time. Vieira shared the Octagon with Holly Holm in the main event of UFC Vegas 55 this past Saturday night (May 21). It was a competitive fight that ended in a controversial split decision. Vieira took the split nod but many felt Holm should’ve had her hand raised.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 55 event, an eleven-bout fight card headlined by Holly Holm vs. Ketlen Vieira. The highly anticipated women’s bantamweight main event resulted in a back and forth twenty-five minute affair. Holly Holm found most of her success in the clinch, but even dropped Ketlen Vieira with a side kick during the fight. However, the Brazilian appeared to get off the harder blows throughout the course of the fight and that seemingly swayed two of the judges in attendance to score the bout in her favor.
