Justin Gaethje still thinks Charles Oliveira has the “quit” inside him and he plans to prove that at UFC 274. Gaethje is set to face Oliveira in the main event of UFC 274 for the lightweight title and in the lead-up to the fight, many have compared Oliveira to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Yet, for ‘The Highlight’ he doesn’t think that is true at all as he doesn’t think the current champ is nearly as dangerous as Nurmagomedov is.

Michael Chandler says Dana White privilege is real and that is because he is Dana’s favorite fighter. Chandler was a top free agent signing back in 2020 and was the backup fighter for Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje before even fighting once in the UFC. After knocking out Dan Hooker in his promotional debut, he then fought Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title in a losing effort. Now, just days ahead of his bout against Tony Ferguson at UFC 274, ‘Iron’ claims he’s Dana White’s favorite fighter.

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has discussed his time in the promotion. ‘The Spider’ reigned the UFC’s 185-pound division from 2006 to 2013. After scoring a then-record ten title defenses, he lost the title to Chris Weidman in 2013. Following that loss, it was a bit of a rough skid for Silva.

Cody Garbrandt will be returning to bantamweight. After dropping down to flyweight at UFC 269, where Garbrandt suffered a first-round TKO loss to Kai Kara-France, the former champ will return to his old stomping grounds. According to MMAFighting, Garbrandt is set to return on July 9 against Rani Yahya. The location of the fight and the main event of the card has not yet been announced.

The UFC has parted ways with another sixteen fighters according to recent reports from @UFCRosterWatch on Twitter. It should also be noted that it has not been confirmed if these moves were outright releases or contracts which were not renewed.
