Brendan Schaub is not a fan of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s idea for UFC welterweights to boycott Colby Covington. ‘Chaos’ last fought Jorge Masvidal in the main event of UFC 272 earlier this month. While he won the fight in the cage, they had another altercation outside of it weeks later. ‘Gamebred’ reportedly saw Covington at the Papi Steak restaurant in Miami. He then allegedly sucker-punched him, and now is facing felony charges.

The salaries from UFC Columbus have been revealed and Curtis Blaydes made the most amount of money. Recently, more and more commissions are keeping the salaries private, but Ohio is one of the few states that disclose the pay. In the main event of UFC Columbus, Curtis Blaydes scored a second-round TKO over Chris Daukaus. For his efforts, ‘Razor’ took home the biggest purse of any fighter featured on the card, pocketing a cool $312k. Daukaus, meanwhile, was paid $80k in defeat.

Kelvin Gastelum will remain on UFC 273 but it will not be against Nassourdine Imavov as originally expected. Gastelum was supposed to take on the surging French prospect, but on Monday it was revealed Imavov was out of the fight. However, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Gastelum will now fight Dricus Du Plessis at middleweight.

He saw Batgerel had a ton of first-round knockouts but it wasn’t until they shared the Octagon that he realized how powerful he was.
UFC 275 set for June in Singapore with two titles on the line

Jones (26-1 MMA) last fought back in February of 2020 at UFC 247, where he defeated Dominick Reyes (12-3 MMA), defending the light heavyweight title for the 13th time. Jon Jones defeated Dominick Reyes via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 49-46).

Recently, we have seen fighters trash talk opposing fighters’ families, which is why Jorge Masvidal sucker-punched Colby Covington in the streets. Dustin Poirier also was not happy with Conor McGregor talking about his wife, however, for St-Pierre, he says fighters take it too personal as fighters need to know trash-talking is part of the game and they need to know it’s good for business and it’s not personal.

UFC 273 has taken a hit just weeks ahead of the card. However, the event has also added a key heavyweight matchup as well. UFC 273 is currently set to be headlined by Alexander Volkanovski defending his featherweight crown against Chan Sung Jung. Meanwhile, the co-main event features the long-awaited rematch between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan. Their first encounter ended in a disqualification win for ‘Funk Master’ in March 2021 at UFC 259.
