It was Masvidal, waiting outside a Miami Beach restaurant, Papi Steak, who is said to have attacked Covington, leaving him with a lacerated wrist and fractured tooth.

Khabib Nurmagomedov thinks Colby Covington should be blacklisted by fellow welterweights after his incident with Jorge Masvidal. On Monday, Masvidal allegedly sucker-punched Covington at a restaurant in Miami causing him to break his tooth and damage his watch. ‘Gamebred’ has since been detained by the police as ‘Chaos’ continues to work with the police over the incident.

Michael Bisping has shared his thoughts on the potential of a Conor McGregor vs Kamaru Usman match-up in the Octagon. In a recent interview, the Irish fighter called out ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ saying he wants to become the first-ever three-weight UFC world champion. An ambitious goal for sure. However, Bisping doesn’t believe it would be a good match-up for McGregor, commenting on YouTube he had this to say (h/t Sportskeeda):

Nate Diaz has slammed his former UFC opponents Conor McGregor and Jorge Masivdal for their recent arrests. McGregor was arrested on Tuesday evening in Dublin for alleged dangerous driving. Along with being arrested, the Irishman had his Bentley Continental GT detained and will now have to appear before Blanchardstown district court next month. He previously appeared before the same court in 2017 when he was fined €400 for speeding.

The 27-year-old recently competed at UFC London last weekend. Pimblett went through early adversity against Kazula Vargas, but once again preserved. He wound up winning the bout via first-round submission and received a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus for his efforts.

Jorge Masvidal has briefly spoken about his alleged incident with Colby Covington. On Monday, it was revealed that ‘Gamebred’ sucker-punched Covington causing one of his teeth to break. It caught the MMA world by surprise, but Masvidal had said their rivalry was not over and he would still fight him on the street if need be. He did exactly that and later posted a video on social media, seemingly confirming he did what was reported.

Chimaev (10-0 MMA) last fought at UFC 267 in October 2021, where he defeated Li Jingliang (18-7 MMA). Khamzat will be back in the cage for UFC 273 on April 9th, matching up with Gilbert Burns (20-4 MMA). ‘Durinho’ will be looking to be the 1st fighter to upset Chimaev, while ‘Borz’ will be looking for another check in the win column.
Conor McGregor reportedly arrested over alleged dangerous driving, has Bentley temporarily seized

Conor McGregor was reportedly arrested on Tuesday evening in Dublin for alleged dangerous driving. Irish outlet Independent reported on Wednesday that McGregor was detained in west Dublin yesterday evening while driving his Bentley Continental GT valued at around €170,000. He was pulled over by gardaí and subsequently arrested for road traffic offenses.
