Teofimo Lopez could have died during his loss to George Kambosos Jr. according to Dr. Linda Dahl, an otolaryngologist at three Manhattan hospitals. Lopez (16-1) took to the squared circle last weekend at Madison Square Garden where he put his undefeated record and four lightweight belts on the line against Kambosos Jr. (20-0).

Despite showing interest in potential showdowns with Vicente Luque, Tony Ferguson and Kamaru Usman, the UFC allegedly approached the ‘Stockton Slugger’ with the idea of fighting Khamzat Chimaev.
