UFC welterweight contender Gilbert Burns believes he will fight Khamzat Chimaev in 2022, predicting that it will be the “Fight of the Night.” Chimaev is one of the fastest-rising welterweight fighters on the UFC roster, having won all four of his fights by stoppage since entering the UFC last year. After spending a year on the sidelines after getting COVID-19 and subsequent health issues, Chimaev is finally healthy now. Last month, he returned to the Octagon at UFC 267 and put on one heck of a performance against Li Jingliang, as he took him down to the mat and finished him quickly.

Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos sent a message to longtime rival Conor McGregor, saying “see you in 2022.” Dos Anjos becomes the latest in a long line of fighters to call out McGregor. In the last few weeks, we have seen a number of MMA fighters such as Max Holloway call out McGregor for his highly-anticipated return to the cage in 2022. But if you ask dos Anjos, it will be him who gets the fight, nearly six years after their first fight fell apart ahead of UFC 196.

Godinez will make modern UFC history as she’ll have three fights in just 43 days which is the quickest ever. She fought two times in seven days and a week ago, she got the call to face Loma Lookboonmee this Saturday which she immediately accepted.

UFC featherweight contender Yair Rodriguez responded following the praise from Max Holloway, saying “you are truly an inspiration for me.” Rodriguez met Holloway in the main event of this past Saturday’s UFC Vegas 42 card. In what was an all-out war between two of the best featherweights in the sport, the fight went the full 25 minutes and both men left every bit of themselves inside of the Octagon. It was truly an incredible fight, and both men have shown an incredible amount of respect to each other following it. First, we had Holloway take to his social media to praise Rodriguez for their battle, and now we have Rodriguez coming out and saying nice things about Holloway.

Former UFC double champion and current fight analyst Daniel Cormier shared his thoughts on who is the greatest boxer in MMA history. There has been much chatter lately about who the best boxer in the sport of MMA is. Max Holloway has said that it’s him, but we’ve also had Petr Yan saying that he is, and now we even have someone like Sean Woodson saying he’s one of the best boxers in the game. There are plenty of fighters in mixed martial arts who are sharp with their hands, but if you ask Cormier, there is one fighter who stands out above the rest when it comes to boxing.

UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler predicts that Justin Gaethje will become the UFC lightweight champion by the middle of next year. Chandler and Gaethje just went toe-to-toe in an all-out war that took place on the UFC 268 main card. It was one of the best fights of the year, but at the end of the 15 minutes, it was Gaethje who got his hand raised by unanimous decision. “The Highlight” is now expected to fight for the UFC lightweight title in his next fight against the winner of UFC 269’s main event between the champion Charles Oliveira and top contender Dustin Poirier.

Paul has created quite the stir in the combat sports world since he turned to boxing as he’s 4-0 and beat former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley last time out. He is a former Disney actor and YouTuber so he had a massive following before getting into boxing. With that, he has helped add eyes to the sport which is why he believes he is the best thing to happen to boxing. He also claims the legends of the sport agree with him.

Tyron Woodley has reacted after Jake Paul announced that he has moved on from a potential rematch with the former UFC champion. Paul defeated Woodley via split decision in a high-profile boxing match which took place this past August in Cleveland. It was a competitive contest, with ‘The Chosen One’ hurting the YouTube sensation and nearly earning a knockdown. However, Jake Paul would ultimately land the better volume of strikes throughout the course of the fight and walked away with the split decision victory.

However, he has been rocked in a handful of fights and that includes his last fight against Yair Rodriguez. With that, the featherweight champion in Volkanovski wonders how long his chin will last as he thinks the Hawaiian’s durability is already going.
