Aldo Eyeing Quick Win Over Conor McGregor
At UFC 194 we will hopefully get to see featherweight champion Jose Aldo take on interim champ Conor McGregor, finally.
It’s not like I can say the talking has already started, because in all actuality it never stopped. This fight has basically been getting promoted since McGregor first started calling out the champ and hasn’t ended since.
So here’s another chapter in the ongoing saga that is Aldo vs. McGregor.
On Combate’s Facebook page, the champ held a Q&A with fans and answered questions about his upcoming fight, of course.
So, what did he have to say about fighting McGregor? Just that he plans on ending it as fast as possible….but wouldn’t mind going the distance either.
“As fast as possible, so no one suffers, including me, and we can come back home quickly to eat and celebrate. My last fight was a war, but we’ll suffer way less this time.”
“It doesn’t matter if I’m going in there and finishing his quickly, if I’m punching him once and he goes down. The important is that I’ll come out victorious, it doesn’t matter what I’m going to do in there.”
