Aldo’s teammate calls out McGregor, will fight for free

After Conor McGregor knocked out Jose Aldo at UFC 194, he scaled the Octagon to celebrate. In the footage you can see Aldo’s teammate, fellow UFC fighter Hacran Dias, yelling some things at McGregor which are inaudible.

He spoke to Combate to reveal what he said:

“I told him to fight me, that I would fight him for free. That was not a good moment and now a lot of people are saying dumb stuff. I don’t know if he saw me or if he pretended he didn’t. He looked at me quickly and pointed my finger at his face, he could’ve played it off, but I told him to fight me. I guess we will see. This is a tough subject to discuss now, man I wish I was fighting him.”

Dias is 3-2 in the UFCC, and sits at #11 on the UFC’s official featherweight ranking ladder. While he is riding a 2-fight win streak after back to back decision wins, we won’t hold our breath for a McGregor vs. Dias fight.
