Anderson Silva: ‘Title not a priority, but dying to return against Nick Diaz’
“I’m just dying to return to the octagon and do the thing that I most love in my life, and that’s happening right now. I have another seven fights on my contract. Obviously, right now it’s not my priority. It’s out of the question to fight for the title. But along those seven fights, if I have the credentials to fight for the title, I’ll be more than glad to do it.”
“I believe [the fight against Nick Diaz is] going to be one of the best standup battles in the history of the UFC.”
Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva told the media during today’s UFC conference call that he’s ready to return to action, but isn’t thinking about the belt.
