Belfort: ‘I Don’t Want An Interim Belt’

Last night following UFC 183, UFC President Dana White spoke at the post-fight press conference about February’s UFC 184.

For those who don’t know, Chris Weidman was forced off the card with an injury, forcing Rousey vs. Zingano to be bumped from the co-main event to the main event. White explained that Vitor Belfort and his wife began calling Dana White asking for an interim title fight, but when Belfort was offered a fight against Lyoto Machida, he declined.
