Big Nog vs. Roy Nelson In The Works

A highly anticipated heavyweight fight is expected to be booked in the near future between ‘Big Nog’ and ‘Big Country’.

The duo is expected to appear during the UFC”s return trip to Abu Dhabi, though UFC officials haven’t named the bout as official.

We only just learned of the UFC’s intentions to return to the UAE, and no timeframe for the card was indicated at the time of this report.

Roy Nelson last saw the inside of the cage back at UFC 166 where he picked up a decision loss to Daniel Cormier. The defeat marked his second straight loss inside the Octagon.

Nogueira hasn’t really been all that active as of late. Only competing three-times since 2011. The MMA legend last saw action in a losing effort to heavyweight number one contender, Fabricio Werdum.
