Booking Roundup – UFC Books 2 High Profile Bouts For Upcoming Events

As always, the UFC has been busy signing bouts for upcoming events this week.

Here’s your chance to catch up with all of the latest matchmaking happenings with BJPENN.com’s Booking Roundup!

First up we have Liz Carmouche vs. Lauren Murphy, which is set to go down at “UFC Fight Night Virginia” on April 4th. Carmouche is riding a 2-fight skid into the bout that has seen her drop back to back losses against Alexis Davis and Miesha Tate. Murphy on the other hand is coming off a decision loss to Sara McMann in August.

Next up, we have an exciting matchup featuring Ben Saunders and Erick Silva that will go down at UFC Fight Night Brazil on March 21st. Saunders will be riding a 2-fight win streak into the bout that has seen him earn back to back stoppage wins, with the first by way of submission, and his most recent by way of TKO. His opponent, Erick Silva, is coming off an impressive win over Mike Rhodes that put him back in the win column after suffering a beat down at the hands of Matt Brown.

This week the UFC also booked Urijah Faber vs. Raphael Assuncao, which will headline UFC Fight Night Brazil on March 21st, as we previously reported.
