Booking Roundup – UFC Books Several Major Matchups For Upcoming Events
The UFC has been incredibly busy this week booking fights for upcoming events, even more-so than usual! Booking nearly 20 bouts for upcoming events.
Catch up with all of the latest happenings with BJPENN.com’s Booking Roundup!
First up we have Cody Pfister vs. James Moontasri, which will go down at UFC Fight Night 60 on February 14th. Pfister will be riding a 7-fight win streak into the bout, whereas Moontasri recently lost his UFC debut, the loss snapped a 3-fight win streak.
Next up we have Seth Baczynski vs. Leon Edwards, which will go down at “UFC Fight Night: Poland” on April 11th. Baczynski is riding a 2-fight losing streak whereas Edwards is coming off a narrow split-decision loss to Claudio Silva.
Next up we have Nordine Taleb vs. Claudio Silva, which will go down April 25th at UFC 186. Taleb is riding a 2-fight win streak into the bout after his stint on TUF, whereas Claudio Silva is riding an 11-fight win streak into the bout that has seen him go 2-0 in the UFC.
Next up we have Jessica Andrade vs. Marion Reneau, which goes down February 22nd at “UFC Fight Night Brazil”. Andrade is riding a 3-fight win streak into the bout whereas Reneau is coming off a loss in her UFC debut.
Next up we have Julianna Pena vs. Milana Dudieva, which will go down at “UFC Fight Night Virginia” on April 4th. Pena will be returning to the Octagon after injuring her ACL, MCL, LCL, and Meniscus while training. The former TUF winner will be facing Milana Dudieva, who is coming off a win in her UFC debut.
Next up we have Corey Anderson vs. Gian Villante, which goes down in New Jersey on UFC on Fox 15 on April 18th. Anderson is undefeated in the UFC after winning TUF 19, whereas Villante is coming off a split decision win over Sean O’Connell in June.
Next up we have Akbarh Arreola vs. Francisco Trinaldo which goes down at “UFC Fight Night Rio De Janeiro” on March 21st. Arreola is coming off a submission win over Yves Edwards, whereas Trinaldo is coming off a unanimous decision win over Leandro Silva.
Next up we have Pawel Pawlak vs. Sheldon Westcott, which goes down at “UFC Fight Night Poland” on April 11th. Palak is coming off a loss in his UFC debut, whereas Westcott is likewise coming off a loss in his UFC debut.
Also on “UFC Fight Night Poland”, we have Krzysztof Jotko vs. Garreth McLellan. Jotko is making his promotional debut, and so his his opponent, McLellan.
Next up we have Germaine de Randamie vs. Larissa Pacheco, which goes down at UFC 185 on March 14th. De Randamie is coming off a TKO loss to Amanda Nunes, whereas Pacheco is coming off the first loss of her professional career at the hands of Jessica Andrade.
Next up we have Ovince Saint Preux vs. Patrick Cummins, which goes down at UFC on FOX 15 on April 18th. OSP is coming off a KO win over Shogun Rua, whereas Patrick Cummins is riding a 3-fight win streak into the bout.
Next up we have Nik Lentz vs. an unknown opponent, which will go down at “UFC Fight Night Colorado” on February 14th. Lentz former opponent, Thiago Tavares, was forced out of the bout, and is leaving UFC officials to search for an opponent for Lentz.
Next up we have Sergio Moraes vs. Peter Sobotta, which goes down at “UFC Fight Night Poland” on April 11th. Moraes is coming off a submission win over Neil Magny in August of 2013, but hasn’t fought since. Sabotta is coming off a decision win over Pawal Pawlak in his return bout with the UFC recently.
Next up we have 2 bouts for UFC Fight Night 63 on April 4th, the first being Clay Guida vs. Robbie Peralta. Guida is coming off a submission loss to Dennis Bermudez, whereas Peralta is coming off a submission loss to Thiago Tavares.
The second bout is Justin Jones vs. Ron Stallings, Jones is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Corey Anderson recently, whereas Ron Stallings is coming off a doctor stoppage loss to Uriah Hall recently in his short-notice UFC debut.
Next up we have Jared Rosholt vs. Josh Copeland, which goes down at UFC 185 on March 14th. Rosholt is coming off a loss to Oleksiy Oliynyk, which snapped a 7-fight winning streak, whereas Copeland is coming off his first pro loss to Ruslan Magomedov.
Next up we have Nick Catone vs. Vitor Miranda, which goes down at UFC on FOX 15 on April 18th. Capone is coming off a split decision win over Tom Watson, whereas Miranda is coming off a TKO win over Jake Collier.
Next up we have Andre Fili vs. Godofredo Pepey, which goes down at “UFC Fight Night Rio De Janeiro” on March 21st. Fill is coming off a unanimous decision win over Felipe Arantes, whereas Pepey is riding a 2-fight win streak into the bout.
Also on “UFC Fight Night Rio De Janeiro” is Shayna Baszler vs. Amanda Nunes. Baszler is riding a 2-fight losing streak into the bout, whereas Nunes is coming off a TKO loss to #1 contender Cat Zingano.
