Cain Velasquez Done with Junior dos Santos After Dominating Once Again

By bjpenndotcom - October 21, 2013

After the second consecutive meeting between UFC heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos, it is clear that Velasquez knows exactly how to dominate the Brazilian, leaving little to question on who the superior fighter is.
Velasquez has now seemingly put an indefinite hold to the ‘parallel careers’ discussion between the two, stating that he no longer wants to focus on more fights with dos Santos for the foreseeable future:

“I was just focused on winning,” Velasquez said. “Who’s to say that in five years that we won’t fight again, but for a while, it will be done.”

Dos Santos was absolutely battered in this fight, losing by TKO in the fifth round after landing awkwardly on his head and being finished off with strikes.

For his next defense, the UFC is eyeing a fight with Fabricio Werdum yet these reports are strictly rumors as of now.
