Chris Weidman’s son KOd The Rock — and “The People’s Champ” responds!
The worlds of professional wrestling and mixed martial arts have mixed yet AGAIN. Chris Weidman took some time away from training for his UFC 194 title defense against Luke Rockhold by taking his son out to the toy store. His son, likely a fan of the WWE, took some aggression out on giant-sized The Rock and John Cena action figures!
Weidman, impressed and admiring his son, did nothing about it and sent a tweet to “The People’s Champ” about it.
Wow! Just witnessed my 3 Yr old put a whipping on @therock and @johncena just stood there and did nothing about it! pic.twitter.com/zxC3ah3PVE

Unexpectedly, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson responded and gave Weidman and his son big props for the left hook!
@ChrisWeidmanUFC @JohnCena Yup, I'm still doing jobs and putting talent over. Kids got his daddy's left hook

Pro wrestling lingo is interesting; What The Rock means when he said he is “putting talent over” is that he is making his opponent look good. “Doing the job” means losing the match.
Weidman returns to the octagon on December 12, 2015 in Las Vegas when he defends his UFC Middleweight Championshop for a fourth time. Do you think Luke Rockhold will leave with the gold, or will Weidman retain? Share your prediction in the comment section below!
