Clay Guida: ‘Right now is a dangerous time for anyone I fight…’
UFC featherweight Clay Guida may have lost some fans in recent fights due to the lack of action, but he is now claiming to be as dangerous as ever.
In a recent interview with Brett Okamoto of ESPN, Guida admitted to having a tough time watching a handful of his fights go to the judges’ decision. “I’ve been on a skid and then ripped off three or four wins over tough opposition in a big way”, Guida stated. He continued, “Right now is a dangerous time for anyone I fight — I’ll leave it at that.”
Clay Guida has not finished a fight since 2011 when he submitted Takanori Gomi at UFC 125. He is scheduled to to face Tatsuya Kawajiri tomorrow afternoon at ‘UFC Fight Night 40’ which takes place in Abu Dhabi.
