Coach: ‘Rothwell and Hunt Perfect Fights for Mir’

“Okay, so there’s a couple that I can see being great right now. I think Ben Rothwell will be a phenomenal fight. He’s inside the top 10 right now, he’s looking for a high-profile opponent. He wants to get his face out there and he wants to get on the map. I think he’s got a lot of hype behind him. I don’t know if it’s because of his fight or because of his WWE pop-out at the end, but I love him either way and I think he’d be a great fight for Frank. I think Mark Hunt would be another one that would be a fan favorite, something that the fans would love to see. He’s a warrior true and true. So for Frank to be in there against somebody like Mark or Ben Rothwell right now, man, I think those would be great fights.”

UFC heavyweight Frank Mir is coming off of an exciting KO win over Todd Duffee and is already planning for his next fight. Mir’s head coach Ricky Lundell, told The MMA Hour that Mark Hunt or Ben Rothwell are the two preferred fights right now.
