No More Out Of Competition Drug Testing For The UFC

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) put their best foot forward in 2014, and made an attempt to rid their organization of Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED’s).

A costly out-of-competition drug testing campaign was put in place by the company that would ultimately back-fire, just a few months in.

“Our legal team completed screwed that up,” echoed UFC President Dana White at this week’s UFC 182 media event.

We f—-d it up, and we will f–k it up again. That’s what the commission is there for,” he said.

The UFC boss is, of course, referring to Cung Le. Whom they suspended for a failed HGH test, then later were forced to publicly apologize for not following proper protocol in their testing procedures.

Le is now suing the organization in an anti-trust class action case, where he currently resides as the only UFC contracted athlete.

White continued to explain the companies stance going forward.

“What we’ll do is we’ll help fund it, so they can do more drug testing,” White continued. “Our legal department screwed that whole thing up. We’ve got no business handling the regulation.”
