Confirmed: ‘Rampage’ Jackson Will Fight at UFC 186
Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has officially been cleared to fight with the UFC and is set to return to the octagon this Saturday to face Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186 in Montreal.
This time three weeks ago, it was made official that Jackson was off the card and would be replaced by Steve Bosse. A judge reversed their decision and Bellator’s court injunction has been lifted on Tuesday, allowing Jackson to compete at UFC 186 once again.
The UFC announced Jackson and Maldonado will fight at a catch-weight of 215 pounds this Saturday.
“We are happy with the decision from the New Jersey Court allowing Rampage to fight in Montreal this Saturday night,” UFC President Dana White said. “I am looking forward to seeing Rampage back in the Octagon.”
