Conor McGregor Interview: Not the Conor That You Expect

By bjpenndotcom - November 25, 2015

Conor McGregor is heading into his title unification bout in Las Vegas a little differently than he has in the past. Most people feel his outrageous antics and “shock-value” comments allowed him to cruise his way to a title fight with champ Jose “Scarface” Aldo Jr.

McGregor (16-2 MMA 6-0 UFC) defeated Diego Brandao, Dustin Poirier, Dennis Siver and Chad Mendez via TKO in those last four contests. The ability to dominate and finish the opponents in the names mentioned above means he is for real.

With the change of the belts recently, “The Notorious One” may not be as cocky and bold about his statements as he was in past interviews. My feeling is that he’s a great self-promoter that doesn’t need to promote. This fight breaks records (ppv) and sells itself, similar to boxing. (Dana’s reading this nodding yes, so hard he has a cramp) Win, lose and everything but a draw, the UFC will close 2015 with a scrap of the ages.
