Correia: ‘Farce’ Ronda Rousey Will be Crying In Pain After UFC 190
Bethe Correia is not letting of the gas pedal as she continues to attack the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion leading up to their fight at UFC 190. Ronda Rousey has found time to talk trash about Correia during her recent media tour to promote her book, but Correia has stayed relatively quiet except for the occasional social media mishap.
Correia wasn’t so quiet today.
“Ronda, you’re not the superheroine you think you are. You are a farce, and I’ll prove it on August 1,” Correia said while on The MMA Hour. “I’ll give you the biggest beating of your life. I’ll make you suffer pain, I’ll make you cry in pain.”
The bout is for the championship Rousey has successfully defended five times, but Correia is predicting her reign will come to an end at UFC 190. “I’ll humiliate you, and you’ll leave your belt here. You’re not a champion. I’m a champion. I invite you to try your MMA game because your judo is not going to work here. I’m gonna beat you up and everyone is going to see it.”
Correia even goes as far to predict that she will knock the champion out cold with a head kick! “I don’t see myself losing. It never crosses my mind,” confessed Correia. “My faith doesn’t allow that. I see me knocking her out. If I end up submitting her, maybe she’ll give me a guillotine or something like that, I’ll take it, but I really want a knockout. I wanna knock her out with a head kick. I think it would be amazing. But if it doesn’t happen, I can do it with my hands. I just want to give her something that she has never tasted before.”
Both fighters are undefeated and Correia only has one technical knockout to her name, but anything can happen in the octagon! Who do you see walking out of the cage with the gold?
