Cummins Challenges OSP To Random Drug Testing
UFC light heavyweight Patrick Cummins wants to help clean up the sport of mixed martial arts.
Cummins is currently riding a 3-fight win streak, which he will put on the line this Arpil when he squares off with Ovince Saint Preux at the UFC on FOX 15 event in Newark.
Cummins recently spoke with MMAFighting.com, where he challenged “OSP” to random drug testing prior to their April 18 bout:
“These failed drug tests are getting out of control,” Cummins said. “OSP, let’s do the right thing with random WADA [World Anti-Doping Agency] testing like I did my entire wrestling career and let the fans see the results.”
Saint Preux did not respond when contacted by MMAFighting.com about Cummins’ idea, however, his coach Joey Zonar was all for it.
“Hell yes,” he said. “As long as [Cummins] makes him a coffee.”
Incase you were not aware, the comment made by OSP’s manager was obviously a joke about Cummins’ brief tenure as a barista prior to joining the UFC last year.
