Cung Le Will Get A Chance To Appeal HGH Test Findings

Cung Le will have his day in court arbitration, to attempt to clear himself of any wrong doing in his own personal nightmare, we’re  now calling “HGH Gate”.

The popular action star, and former Strikeforce world champion, has been under the microscope ever since controversial images surfaced of him looking like a lab rat on ‘the juice’. A brutal beating from Bisping later, and Cung was served up a post-fight drug screening, and got popped for using HGH.

His camp, of course, denies the tests accuracy, and several experts have since discredited the collection process in which the UFC used to nab this alleged cheat.

So now, according to a report coming out of ESPN.com, Cung will get a chance to defend himself in front of an arbitration panel selected by the UFC.

“The (American Arbitration Association) would hear whatever Cung Le’s arguments are,” said Lawrence Epstein, the UFC’s chief operating officer (via ESPN). “He has a certain time to file his intention to appeal. An arbitration panel would be set up, he’ll make his case, arbitration will make its decision and that will be the end of it.”

Also in a statement to ESPN, Le’s manager confirmed that they will indeed file an appeal.

“Of course. The UFC is fully aware of the issues we have with the testing (on Aug. 23). These are valid arguments we have raised.”
