“Cyborg” Interested in Super Fight with Miesha Tate
The rivalry between Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino and the women of the UFC just got interesting.
Miesha Tate has already expressed interest in a super fight with Invicta FC Featherweight Champion “Cyborg”. In order for this to happen, both ladies would have to meet in the middle for a catchweight bout at 140. “Cyborg” has always had her sights set on Rousey, but now it seems like a fight with Tate is a good test for her weight cut to 135.
“You know, I’m the [Invicta] champion at 145 but, I to like challenge myself,” Justino repsonded when Inside MMA asked her about a fight with Tate. “All my fans talk about this super-fight. And my last fight I [made 145 easier]… If Miesha Tate say she can make 140 to fight me, you know, I like to challenge myself and if I can make 140 first and after drop to 135, I think it’d be good.”
The sequence of events have been laid out. If “Cyborg” can make a healthy weight cut to 140, she may try to cut down to 135 to face Rousey. Do you think this will eventually happen? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
