Cyborg: “Rousey Can’t Compete With Me” | UFC News

Recent Invicta FC signee, Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos speaks out against long-time rival and UFC bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey to celebrity news outlet TMZ:

“Fraud? I’m not the one that hides behind a weight class that she knows I can’t make.”

The weight class Cyborg is referring to is the 135-pound limit that the bantamweight division’s maximum, a division that Cyborg claims she can’t make healthily.

Cyborg also claims that the most prolific women’s MMA fighter is scared to face her and must fight a few more times to gain the confidence to fight somone on Cyborg’s level of talent:

“Obviously she knows that she can’t compete with me; take the time, maybe [Ronda] will get good enough and gain some confidence.”

Rousey has yet to be matched with second opponent in the UFC while Cyborg fights with Invicta FC on April 5th.
