UFC president Dana White had plenty to say about Yoel Romero’s ‘controversial comments’.

Romero, after defeating Lyoto Machida, took the mic from Jon Anik and started speaking in english, which is his second language, and started talking about America and saying ‘What happened?’ Then from there, things got a little murky. Some think he said ‘No gay Jesus’, while others heard ‘No forget Jesus.’

Either way, White thinks he should have just kept his beliefs to himself, here’s what he said to MMAFighting.

“You just won the biggest fight of your career. America doesn’t want to hear your thoughts on Jesus. Keep that stuff at home, religion, politics, all that stuff. When you’re out there fighting, and you’re being interviewed, they want to hear about the fight. It’s awesome that you love Jesus. Love Jesus all you want. You just don’t have to do it publicly.”

“Talk about your fight. People don’t want to be preached to.”

Do you agree with White, or should fighters be able to express their thoughts?
