Dana White Says Henry Cejudo Can Fight At A Heavier Weight, Or Not Fight At All
UFC President Dana White doesn’t plan on letting history repeat itself when it comes to Henry Cejudo. After the gold medal Olympian withdrew from his UFC 177 fight against Scott Jorgensen, White said Cejudo will get another shot to fight in the UFC, but it won’t be at 125 pounds.
He spoke with MMAJunkie:
“He can come back and try at a heavier weight or not try again,” White said.
“He’s got a history of doing this,” White said. “It’s not his first time, and if he stays at that weight, it won’t be his last.”
Cejudo has a history of missing weight in fights, in his 6 professional fights, he has missed weight twice, and has no-showed a weigh in, citing the stomach flu as the reason for missing the event.
