Dana White: ‘There Isn’t Much I Would ‘Say No’ To BJ Penn About’
“BJ’s a unique guy. Always has been. He’s literally been a staple in this company since the day we bought this company. He was one of the first guys that Lorenzo and I decided to bring in as a fighter.
I’ve had my moments with BJ. BJ’s a nutty-guy. But unlike the other guys I’ve had my moments with, BJ’s a good kid and you can work it out with him.
There isn’t too much I’d say no to him for.”
During today’s pre-fight media scrum, UFC President Dana White discussed his thoughts on BJ Penn coming back into action.
Penn has been with the organization since 2001. He first fought at UFC 31, where he beat Joey Gilbert in the first round.
BJ is currently coaching ‘The Ultimate Fighter season 19″ and is set to face Frankie Edgar in the UFC’s main event on July 6.
