Donald Cerrone Explains Steroid Accusations Towards Champ

“I’m not concerned about (PED use) at all. I was just trying to get a rise out of him … that’s all. Maybe he worked hard and does what he has to do. I was just trying to get a rise, piss him off, get a stir.”

UFC lightweight title contender Donald Cerrone will finally get his shot at champion Rafael dos Anjos when they meet at UFC o FOX 17 on Dec. 19.

He’s been waiting for a while and has been pushing for the fight to happen by calling out Dos Anjos on social media and even going so far as to insinuate that the champ has been using steroids in order to take his game to the next level.

He’s not the only one that has made comments about Dos Anjos out of nowhere improvement, but the ‘Cowboy’ told The MMA Hour that he was simply just trying to cause some trouble and trying to get Dos Anjos riled up.
