Dos Anjos vs. Khabib Part II? The Champ Wants It to Happen!

“I think Khabib (Nurmagomedov) has a tough task. (Donald) Cerrone is a tough guy. I fought them both, and I know Cerrone is a tough fight for anyone. He’s a great fighter. But I don’t know how Khabib is going to do with that. He’s had to train through injuries, and he hasn’t fought in a while. Cerrone has been fighting a lot. So it’s going to be a good fight. I want Khabib to win because I would love to fight him again.”

Rafael dos Anjos put the world on notice when he not only defeated, but DOMINATED UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis to earn the top-spot in the lightweight division. Dos Anjos is now looking to avenge his losses and he wants to start with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In a recent interview with MMAJunkie, the champion stated that he wants Nurmagomedov to defeat Donald Cerrone at UFC 187 just so he can face him again. THAT’S a champion’s mentality.
