Big news was recently released that UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor would be going up from 145 pounds to 155 pounds to challenge lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.

Early betting odds from Best Fight Odds have been released. As of this writing, Conor McGregor has come out as the underdog at +100 while dos Anjos who is the champion of the higher weight class is listed at -130.

McGregor is on a 15-fight win streak, with only one of those fights going the distance. His last win over Jose Aldo to become the featherweight champion was the fastest finish in UFC title history, knocking out the former UFC ranked pound-for-pound king in just 13 seconds.

Dos Anjos is on a 5-fight win streak, winning the lightweight title against Anthony Pettis and a dominating performance to defend the title against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in his last two bouts. Dos Anjos put an onslaught of an attack on Cerrone in the first round before referee Herb Dean could call a stop to the fight. The current lightweight champion collected another win over Cerrone in 1 minute and six seconds by TKO.
